About Brian J
When giving a lesson my focus is on making your existing swing better. Im not going to ask you to do something you cant do comfortably. If you are a new student i want to create the best possible swing that you can repeat. But most of all i want you to enjoy your lesson, enjoy golf and have fun doing both.
I graduated from New Mexico State Universtiy with a Bachelors in Management/ Marketing with a specialty in Professional Golf Management. I am a Class A member of the PGA of America and have been teaching since 2001. I am current on all major companies as it pertains to club fitting. I am also an Eyeline Golf certified instructor and a US Kids Certified Instructor

First i want to talk to you and see why you are coming to me. Is it a check up or is their a major problem. Next i want to see what your expectations are. Do you just want to beat your friends or do you have a specific goal in mind. Finally i want to see how much time you have to invest in this game. This is also a time for you to get to know me and ask any questions you might have. Once we know each other its time to go to the pratice area and begin working.
I have worked with young, old, tall, short, handicaped, injured, and everything in between. I have yet to see a student or swing that scares me.
Find an instructor that you are comfortble with that will respect you and your wishes. Find someone honest and willing. Run Run Run from the instructors who are trying to fit you to their swing. They should conform to your swing.
