About Shannon
I am fluent in Spanish, German, and French. Proficient in Latin. I have been tutoring K-12 for over 30 years, and test-prep for over 20.
I have a B.A. in Spanish and M.A. in German.
I enjoy helping students improve their grades and scores in various subjects. When it comes to languages, I am a grammar fanatic, and love to break things down so students can really "get it". Conversation lessons are also something I enjoy.
I have been tutoring since I was in 2nd grade! I have always had a knack for teaching, and I love helping others.

Typically we will set up an initial 60-90 minute appointment, get acquainted and make some goals for tutoring/coaching.
I've worked with students age 7 through 60, with various learning skills and challenges. I have worked with many students with ADD/ADHD as well as gifted students and adults. Whether my student has emotional and motivational challenges or is academically ambitious, I enjoy the challenge of tailoring guidance to the individual.
