About Ben
I left school with an Excellence endorsement overall, and either merit or excellence endorsements in every subject I took. I have been teaching for years, starting at Sunday school when I was 10, and since 2021 I’ve been a STEM tutor at Brain Play. I love to teach, and am excited to help students achieve their goals at School.

I’ll happily work through homework or text books assigned by your school with you, to ensure you have a complete understanding of the topic at hand. However, I am not a believer in the ‘learn by rote’ system. I thoroughly prefer teaching through understanding, and once necessary confidence and speed is established in a topic we won’t waste time doing a thousand examples, we’ll move swiftly to the next topic.
