I have 5+ years of experience as a writing tutor. Able to assist with all kinds of writing needed in school / an academic setting.
I absolutely love being able to work through the writing process with people. Writing is tough(!!) but can be extremely rewarding when you translate the ideas in your head onto the page.
I have 5+ years of writing tutoring experience. At Temple University, I tutored Division-I student-athletes in freshman and sophomore year English and writing courses. I also have a science-writing background, where I am a published author of several peer-review publications in the field of Clinical Psychology. I recently graduated from Villanova University with my Masters in Psychology, where I won an award for best written thesis in the graduate program.

At Temple University, I worked with Division-I student athletes who had a wide range of life and educational experiences prior to college. Given the array of experiences and skillsets that people come to each session with, I like to meet students where they are at. Some students need more time improving topic sentence writing, scouting material from sources, etc. whereas others may have those skillsets and may need to focus on other stages of the writing process (e.g., specifically needing help with an Introduction or Conclusion paragraph).

Details
My first session with a new student is $25 / hour. This way, you can get a sample of my tutoring style / assistance and see if it is a good fit. If you would like to continue after the first session, cost per hour session is $50 / hour.
Will prorate pricing if student doesn't require whole hour (e.g., $37.50 for 45 minute session)
