About Shannon

I want to help my scholars learn the skills they need to tutor themselves, soo as i help you n a particular subject, I will try to help show you how you might be able to figure things out for yourself next time around! I can share my tried and true toolkit that got me to the top of my class in High School, into a University in the U.K., and will hopefully get me into an Ivy League Doctoral Program!

More formally, my cousin was struggling with geometry, and I was asked to help get him back on track. I really enjoyed the process and experience, so I continued to look for work in tutoring!

I have been tutoring since late 2020, with results as amazing as a 35 point jump in my scholar's grades!

I graduated in the top of my class in High School, and earned many awards.

I am currently studying at a University in the U.K., and have been able to travel much of Europe and experience many different cultures!

I plan to pursue a Doctorate in Organizational Behavior at an Ivy League institution in the States once I return home from England, then continue with a career in Academia.

About the lesson

First I try to figure out their learning style, then try to come up with a clear and consistant plan for us to wrk through togther!

I have catered to many types of students, and I do my best to fit my lesson plan to the scholar I'm working with.

Find someone who you think you will get on well with. A lot of people can teach you geometry or english, but someone who you are comfortable with, someone you can laugh with, that's who will teach you a whole lot more.

One of my scholars, who is now exceeding my scores in the couse we are focusing on, told me he was growing confident in himself in his school work, and he was invited to be in an honors course the next year!
