About Jacob
I love helping you acheive your english goals. I am really good at helping you with spelling, grammar, english, focusing, and even motivating yourself to get to where you want to go! I have been tutoring for 2 years and have been working with younger kids since I was 7 over 10 years ago. I myself used to struggle with focusing and motivation but was able to overcome it and now assist others that struggle with simlilar situations. I am First Aid/CPR/AED Certified and also have a few other certifications in the special needs area from Udemy. I create a unique learning expirence based off of your own personlity and struggles to make it as interesting and helpful as possible.
I have completed all the way up to my Junior year in high school and have 3 different certifications in special needs areas so I can help others with ADHD, Autism, OCD, ODD, and more!

I like to take a session to get to meet the student and their family as well as introduce myself and answer any specific questions you may have. I also work on learning about all new students so in my off time I can create a personalized learning experience.
I have worked with students who simply need help with one problem here and there as well as students that have trouble focusing or staying motivated. I am currently helping a student who wants to drop out of high school to stay in school.
I think students should look not only for a tutor but someone who can help them through tough life experiences and also someone who is willing to go to the students level and not expect the student to come up to the tutors level.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should look at the work they need help with and if they struggle to focus or even notice a lack of motivation to get things done. Students need to be able to identify the need for help and also need to be willing to accept it. If they have no desire to acccept help, any help given will most likely just be thrown out the window. I encourage everyone that believes they need help to ask for it.
