About Nina
Hello, I'm Nina! I have been helping classmates and younger cousins and sibilino for years now and it's truly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I've helped so many students achieve their academic goals year after year and I know that YOU are more than capable of doing the same with the right help. I received my degree in Business Administration and Science with a concentration in Finance. I am currently a master's student because I truly believe that the key to success comes from gaining more knowledge and experience.
I am here at your expense. I promise to make the tutoring session as fun as possible. I am friendly, energetic, and love to see others succeed.

I enjoy the rewarding experience of the student I am helping out receiving the grade they derserved! I also enjoy meeting new people who allow others to help them out when in need.
I got started teaching by the student managed investment program noticing there are financially illiterate people in the community right where I was studying.
I have my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration of finance degree. Studying for my Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in finance. I taught financial literacy for two years when I was the director of operations and research analysts at the Student Managed Investment Fund program at Barry University. I am also a former resident assistant of two years, so working with others is fairly easy for me.

When working with a prospect, the most important aspect of the entire process is building a rapport. ... Students create a detailed description of their current situation and their desired results. I make sure that new student knows they are being understood. Make lists of strengths and weaknesses with the students while working in assignments together.
I've work wit students of Pre-K to 11th grade. Also, college classmates.
Advice I would give a student looking to hire a teacher in my area of expertise is to have the following:
Patience
Regardless of the grade level the individual is teaching, patience is essential in the classroom. Inevitably, the educator will run into students who struggle, misbehave, or require extra attention for other reasons. They must remain calm and continue to work with these children so that they find success in school.
Communication skills both inside and outside of the classroom
Of course teachers must be able to communicate with their students properly, but truly successful educators are also able to work well with administrators, other teachers, and all staff members working in that school. Additionally, they’re able to communicate with their students’ parents or guardians to explain how the child is doing in class.
Enthusiasm for the job
Teaching is challenging, to say the least. The best teachers have a genuine enthusiasm for the field. They truly believe in what they do and why they do it. Those who teach because they aren’t sure what else they’d rather be doing will quickly find that they end up burnt out and counting down the days until summer rolls around.
The ability to be flexibility
Education changes quickly. You may teach students a particular subject a certain way one year, only to find that your administrators would like you to teach it another way the following year. The best teachers are able to be flexible and adapt to these changes, without getting flustered or frustrated. They also incorporate changing technology trends into their classroom, and stay on top of developments in the educational field.
The ability to take feedback
Inevitably, you’ll want your younger teachers to get regular feedback from the veterans on staff. However, if the newer teacher regularly gets offended by this feedback, eventually this is going to cause tension among your team. The ideal new hire will be able to take some criticism and learn from it, rather than feeling offended.
A recent even I am fond of is when I became a FlexLearning Classroom Assistant. I am in charge of making sure all of the live recording sessions presented in Zoom or WebEx are displayed for the hybrid learners. Also, I am there for the professors if they have any technical difficulties.

Did I do the assigned work that's due?
How does what's being learned fit into what I already know?
What other 'things' (content areas, real-world thinking and jobs, etc.) is this connected to?
