About Alexandra
I'm passionate about helping students achieve their language goals. I took an intensive TEFL/TESL course in Peru at one of the top private language schools in the area. And then I spent six months in Peru teaching English at the same school. I have a bachelor's in Spanish and History from Baker University. My Spanish fluency is enough to teach low level Spanish learners.
I studied Spanish in college and came to Peru to improve my Spanish and become an English teacher.
I am TEFL/TESL certified and I taught English in Peru for 6 months.

I conduct an introductory interview to assess the student's level, including getting to know the student and letting them ask me questions. Then I ask them about their goals and create lesson plan from there.
I have worked with students of all fluency types and from ages 13-40.
The only advice I have is that if you work hard, I'll work hard and we can grow together. I try to make lessons fun and tailor them to my students interests, so just let me know what you like and we'll have a great time!
Recently I had a class of students who were eager to learn, and who asked questions and got to know me as I got to know them.The students learned more and were more engaged because of the strong rapport level we had.
