About Natalie
Hello! My name is Natalie and I'm a part-time English Literature and Essay Tutor! I'm from Atlanta, Georgia but I now live in the Big Apple. I graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA in June of 2020, where I majored in English and minored in Classical Civilizations. I'm now working in finance in NYC but still love to fill my spare time by helping students with their writing! I specialize in critical literary analysis, close reading, British/American literature, Classical literature, and college application essays. I've now helped a handful of family and friends with their school writing assignments/college application essays and have had tremendous results!
Because I work 9-5 during the week, I complete most of my editorial/tutoring work during weekday evenings and on weekends. I am able to work with students' particular class material to help with any stage of the writing process (i.e. brainstorming, outlining, research, structuring, editing, proofreading, etc.). As I've said before, I help students realize their unique voice in their writing, which ultimately makes their papers more memorable and personable. From there, we discuss where the student is seeking improvement and we can tailor a unique program to best fit his/her needs.
