About James
Graduating from the University of York with a First Class with Honours in Politics, I have continued my studies at the University of Leeds where I am completing a Masters in Political Theory. I am on course to receive a distinction. Academically, I am an industrious student with competence not only in Politics but also English and History. The scope of my reading stretches widely, above and beyond the reading list, drawing inspiration from a variety of authors of both fiction and non-fiction, poetry and prose. With regard to my tutoring experience, I have work experience in the classroom as a teaching assistant but I am also experienced in tutoring via Skype. On a personal level, I am easy to get along with and excel at working with young people. I keep up with the news and have an avid interest in past and present, domestic and foreign affairs. Volunteering at a local news service for the visually-impaired, working for a youth-run news platform and writing a blog fills my spare time.
