About Samantha
Samantha is a highly motivated and accomplished educator who has over 7 years of tutoring experience. She has been employed as a tutor by TRIO, The Plangere Writing Center, and her local middle school until deciding to develop her own tutoring company, Prep For Success. By expanding her talents to her own personalized tutoring company she has been able to service a vast array of individuals including students ranging from 10 to 55 years old, students with disabilities, as well as students who merely wish to get ahead and persevere past their personal plateaus. She has experience tutoring English, writing, math, statistics, psychology, sociology, GED, TOEFL, SAT, and ACT. By harnessing her passion for tutoring she has been able to help a plethora of students receive acceptances to their dream schools (Cornell, NYU, MIT, etc), help individuals improve their SAT score by 150+ points, and help students maintain A's in their classes. Additionally, some of her most acknowledged accomplishments include: becoming a published author in Behavioural Brain Research Journal, being selected to present her research at the EPA conference, as well as scoring in the 99th percentile on the ACT and SAT. In addition to this, she has a degree in Biological Sciences and Psychology. Being a helper at heart, in her spare time she volunteers on her town’s Ambulance Corp as well as volunteers at her local hospital. With these accomplishments accompanied by her extensive tutoring experience, we are more than confident that she can help you, or your child, achieve the goal that is desired.
Over the years I have developed a passion for teaching and I personally love seeing my students grow and thrive. Middle schoolers, peers, collegiate scholars and even disabled adults have benefited from my ever-maturing tutoring capabilities. Whether it be writing college essays, personal statements, resumes, research papers, and more, I know that every piece of work flourishes under the hands of a tutor. Furthermore, regardless of your circumstance, I am sure I have been in your shoes. I remember the happiness that filled my emotions when I received an A on a paper or got an acceptance letter to the school of my dreams; I truly love to see this happiness in my students when they, too, achieve their dreams.
