About Reach Scholars

(PLEASE NOTE: My Rate is $45 per hour or $22.50 for 30 mins)

Hi, my name is Veronica and I am a certified Elementary and ESOL Educator. I have been teaching in the US public schools system for 19+ years. In my many years as an educator, I have always enjoyed teaching reading to my students. I have worked with a variety of students from Kindergarten to 6th grade and it is truly a joy to see a student make a whole year's growth by the end of the school year with me working with them consistently. Students get results and show a whole year's worth of growth in reading when they work with me consistently. So I decided that I wanted to start my own business doing what I love doing to give a more personalized program to students where reading was an area of weakness. From this passion, Reach Scholars Tutoring was born.

I enjoy helping students reach their potential in reading skills and learning English. It really makes me happy to see a student feel confident in thier reading and improved English langauge abilities.

About the lesson

I'd like to get to know them by asking questions about their interests and what they would like to improve on. I also give a free assessment to see where their reading readiness skills are. This will give me a place to start in terms of where there levels are.

I have worked with a variety of students from all over the globe at various learning levels.
