About Patricia
I teach collegiately, but have always had a passion for working with people of all ages. I enjoy working one-on-one and in small group settings via remote learning.
My background is in Environmental, Soil and Plant Sciebce, but I also have experience in writing, proofreading, grammar and syntax. I wrote for my collegiate paper, have two journal articles published, and I proofread papers and articles for colleagues prior to submission.

My mom will tell you it started when I taught my brother how to read.
I've always had a passion for learning and teaching.
I have taught collegiately for 16 years as a TA or as an Instructor. I've tutored children of friends and other students who are not in my courses.
I have also worked for a newspaper and have written articles in peer-reviewed journals. I have also edited articles for peer-reviewed journals in my research field.

Details
My first session (60-90 minutes)where we have introductions to each other, expectations, and assess student needs is a flat rate of $30.
After we agree on the time commitment needed for success, a sliding scale of fees is in place. This includes session time and frequency of sessions
I do charge a cancellation fee if you fail to notify me within 12 hours of our session that you will not be attending. I understand if emergencies arise, but both your time and mine are very valuable!
