About Mila

My service stands out by me being a 7th grader helping other kids or adults with there ability to do certain subjects. My goals are to help students be able to accomplish the grades that they want and continue to be able to do what they love. I also am always available if something comes up and you need to reschedule that will always be ok on my end :)

I enjoy being able to watch my tutorees understand the concept that I am teaching them. It always brings a smile to my face when they know exactly what to do and what I'm talking about especially when the concept is generally easy.

I am very good at explaining subjects and raising grades so I am definitely a go to if you want a high quality tutor for k-7th graders :)

About the lesson

My process is letting them grasp the concept though things they enjoy. Say if they enjoy plants and had trouble with fractions, I would have them use a plant as an example and give them a fraction problem that could be associated with plants. Another technique I use is having them write down certain keywords that they find important or That I say are important, this helps the student grasp onto the concept easier than just telling them what to learn and having them read even when they might not understand the concept.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should think about what questions about the concept they are really struggling on. If you do not understand what I am teaching you or you are being taught by another teacher, you need to have questions backing up what you do not understand.
