About Miranda
Teaching and learning have been lifelong passions of mine. Education is a reciprocal process: while I teach the materials at hand, I also learn how to approach each individual student to tailor lessons to their needs and personal learning styles. No two students are alike, and I'm more than happy to help customize our learning space to give you the best educational experience possible!
I earned my BA in English writing from Elmhurst University in 2018, and I'm in the process of completing my MA in rhetoric and writing at Northern Illinois University. I've spent two years at the head of the classroom, both in-person and virtually, teaching first-year composition to undergraduate students. I'm excited to continue on my teaching journey by tutoring remotely.
