About Sarah
Dr. Sarah Ali, Ph.D. is an applied economist by training with 14+ years of experience in the private, public, non-profit, and academic sectors. Dr. Ali has worked as a consultant with clients from various U.S. federal government agencies including homeland security, trade, international development, agriculture, & health within the areas of people analytics, macroeconomics, and instructional design.
I absolutely love economics, as it's one of the most challenging and analytical subjects I have ever studied! I have always enjoyed sharing my insights and passion for the field with fellow colleagues and students.
Dr. Ali has designed and taught data science, applied analytics, economic, and agricultural economic courses for clients and students at institutions such as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Grant Thornton LLP, Washington University in St. Louis, USA Graduate School, The Institute of World Politics, Saint Louis University, University of Missouri-Columbia, and the United Arab Emirates University.
I received a PhD in Agricultural Economics and an MA in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I received a BSBA in Economics from Saint Louis University.
