I've been taking lessons from Steve Ebe for 6 years and I've absolutely loved every bit of it. He's a great teacher that's able to explain both basic and complex concepts in a clear, understanding, and helpful way for both beginning and advanced drummers. He can play and teach many different styles of music, and is always goes about his job in a kind/professional way. Plus he's one of the most sought after drummers in town, and has a wealth of real world experience and advice he can pass along to his students. So all in all I would absolutely recommend him for teaching!

He is very knowledgeable and make the lessons easy and informative. He also take his time so that you really learn the material and understand it before moving on . I have really enjoyed learning to play the snare drum and look forward to continuing my lesson. Steve has make it fun.

Steve has been working with my now 11 year old son for a year and a half. When he had to change over to online lessons back in March, it was smooth and easy and my son still loves having the lessons. I cannot recommend Steve enough for drum lessons for your children (and possibly for yourself -I just haven't had lessons myself.)

Our son's in his 3rd year with Steve Ebe and we offer the highest recommendation whether you're an adult looking to elevate your skills or a parent seeking instruction for your child.  Our son has benefited from Steve's structured lessons and he's made meaningful progress in areas of analyzing songs and how to musically support them, how to read music, and the ongoing development of foundational techniques for hands & feet often glossed over by drum teachers. Our son has specific learning disabilities. While Mr. Ebe has always been attentive to how he learns and what he needs in order to learn, we've appreciated how our son has been held to the same high expectations teachers should hold for any student. Since our son began lessons, his grades in school have improved, he's more independent, and he's learned the importance of showing up on time and prepared.  For what it's worth, I'm a professional drummer and studied under top level teachers in Chicago, North Texas State with Ed Soph, and Los Angeles with Jake Hannah (Tony Bennett)  and Denny Seiwell (Paul McCartney). My reason for mentioning this is because the delivery of curriculum I see coming home for my son is equal and/or superior to the teachers I've previously experienced.

Steve is my 4th drum teacher and by far my favorite. He’s clear, patient, talented, and encouraging. Highly recommend!

When I came to study with Steve, I'd been playing for 20+ years. I knew what I was doing...or so I thought! He was able to see exactly where I needed improvement and quickly took my playing up several levels.

Five years later, Steve's thoughtful, reasoned approach and personalized instruction has enabled me to grasp and master techniques I'd have never touched otherwise. He's exactly what I needed. I can't recommend him highly enough!

One last thing...I wasn't sure how the transition to online lessons was going to work. In my experience, it has been even better! I don't have to drive and I'm at my own kit!

I have been taking lessons from Steve for about 5 years and only have praise for him. He has really improved my playing, my reading, my application and my overall desire to play drums. I and my bandmates have noticed a vast improvement in my playing since taking lessons from Steve. Steve is a great player, a great teacher and just a really good person. Steve is very patient and encouraging; never patronizing or critical. He has a good sense of where I am as a drummer and, while pushing toward my limits, never tries to take me too far past them. Plus, being a pro who's played with a lot of well-known artists in a variety of genres, he has a lot of tips about being a drummer and can tailor lessons to the student's musical interests. On top of all that, Steve's a great guy and lots of fun to work with.
