About Katrina
I want to be able to teach the basics so you can let your imagination take you in whatever direction you want. The concept of composition, color theory, weight, and unity and so much more goes into the simplest form of creating art, whether or not you realize they are there. I want to help bring these to light and lead you into a whole new level of artistry, while having fun and expressing yourself along the way.
I love creativity and expression. I have studied a spectrum of different mediums and styles; from Fine Arts to Digital Media. I mainly use watercolor but can teach the use of acrylic and oil. I work with dry media as well, colored pencil, pastel, and charcoal and more. I have been passionate about art for as long as I can remember. I studied it all throughout High School. Moving into college I studied fine arts and eventually transitioned into video game art and design, where I learned utilizing the Adobe suite along with 3ds max and Maya. 4 years ago I entered into my first tattoo apprenticeship where I now run my own independent business. The great thing about art is there is always something new to learn and sharing that knowledge with others allows for us to grow too.
