About Briana
As an art therapist, Briana meets with individuals and groups, assisting clients with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and more. Clients are able to talk as much or as little as they want in session, with artwork adding a new dimension to regular talk therapy, a "shortcut to the subconscious".
Briana offers various classes in the arts along the Connecticut shoreline for both organizations and individuals.

About the lesson

We begin with a brief interview about what the client hopes to develop in themselves, and in their artistic skill. Then we work with artistic demonstrations, experiments, experiential play, and step-by-step how-to's to develop skills and confidence.
Insurance may cover your visits! In this case, there is a bit more paperwork, and we may delve a bit deeper into how art-making can fulfill you personally and emotionally.
