About Lester
I have been a teacher since 1974 I have taught hundreds of students. Some have become sucessful business owners in art, others teachers and artists. I am certain that I can help anyone who desire to learn and or excel in their art skills.
I sincerley enjoy helping others. It was my intent to go to college for art and become a studio painter/artist. While in my Junior year at EMU a professor suggested that I consider teaching. His logic was that as and artist a career at best would be unstable and would only guarantee a cup of coffee at the opening art shows. Teaching would be stability in earning a liviable wage as I pursued art as a career. Since becoming and art teacher I fell in love with teaching.

My art in the beginning was pretty horrible compared to my classmates who were drawing for years.
I took Lester's classes & he worked with me in never giving up. I had another instructor that was horrible & spared no expense in degrading students art work.
Lester believes in his students & helps students get past what you'd consider a mess & how to salvage the mess & create an amazing piece of art.
We still laugh about the first rose I drew & mutilated it. There was NO salvaging it, I just had to start over.
Because Lester never gave up on me & continued to work with me, I started drawing & airbrushing t-shirts, helmets, etc that looked just as good, if not better than my classmates I mentioned above.
Out of all the Art instructors I had, Lester was my favorite, I learned so much from him!View more recommendations

Pricing is per session (1 hour length) at my location at students location. Discount for multiple lessons per week my location $at the students location up to 15 miles Prices For others a small class setting 5-10 students may assist for some for prices to be as low as per hour session
