I took private art lessons with Anatol Woolf for 5 years from middle school through high school. He helped me develop and enrich my art skills through various mediums, such as pencil, colored pencil, water color, oil, and sculpture. Anatol played a pivotal role in helping me build my art portfolio to use to apply to architecture programs, where I was accepted early decision to Cornell University. In the beginning of my time working with Anatol, he took a more "hands-on" approach in teaching me, but he would still give me time to work through difficult problems alone before he stepped in. By the end of my 5 years with him, I was working completely independently, only using his aid when it was absolutely necessary. I recommend anyone of all skill levels to work with Anatol! He is an incredible artist and art teacher!

Anatol Woolf is talented and professonal art teacher. I attened one-on-one classes with Anatol the year after graduating from undergrad. I received a minor in art and wanted to take lessons from Anatol in classical techniques. I loved his instruction and tips. The studio was clean, bright, and comfortable. Anatol taught me drawing, watercolor and oil painting during my final year of high school, allowing me to prepare a fiercely competitive portfolio that would win several competitions and gain me admission to many top tier undergraduate architecture programs.
