About Nancy
My name is Nü Moon, and I am an art instructor with a passion for intuitive art. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that art is a deeply personal and transformative process. I strive to create an environment that encourages exploration, experimentation, and self-expression. I believe that my approach to teaching, coupled with my experience and passion for art, makes me an excellent guide for students embarking on their intuitive art journey.
Moreover, I am a firm believer in the power of intuitive art. This process involves creating art from a place of intuition and emotion, rather than following a set plan or design. It is a process that allows for self-discovery and personal growth. In my classes, I guide students through this process, encouraging them to tap into their intuition and express their emotions through their artwork. For example, one of my students, initially struggling with expressing her emotions, found solace and a means of communication through intuitive art. Her journey was a powerful reminder of the transformative power of art.
I am a self taught artist. I've been painting for 18 years. I've held local paint and sip classes throughout Chicago and Chicago land area pre-COVID for 4 years.

About the lesson

A typical process starts with defining goals and outcomes for each student. Students will be able to choose from 3 paintings to recreate or free-form if they prefer.
Each session starts with meditation, followed by brief consultation. Students will then follow step by step techniques to finish their painting.
Once painting is complete time will be alloted to journal and make time for positive affirmations.

I also provide intuitive Art readings for $35
Intuitive Art readings are a personalized 1 on 1 coaching session. They are similar to a paint session however the mediums used will consist of paper, color pencil or crayon.
