About Kirsten
Dance has been my life's passion since I started at 5 years old. The art form that transcends language and truly connects the mind, body, and spirit. I studied dance as a hobby through my teen years and decided to pursue a BFA in dance performance from Western Michigan University. I have taught throughout the Midwest, New York, Spain, and China for students as young as 3 to adults.
I feel a great sense of pride and responsibility to share the art of dance. To be able to connect to oneself through movement is a special gift. Being able to share this gift to others and see them grow as individuals is truly rewarding. Dance connects us to ourselves, the people around us, the music we listen to, and a higher power. Lets find this magic together!
I started teaching and assisting in early childhood classes at 14. I have been teaching ever since.
13 years of training as a competitive dancer. BFA in dance performance from Western Michigan University, summa cum laude.
