About Britta
This dance is dynamic, tribal, celebratory, and ecstatic fusing earthy dance movements from all over the world including Brazil, Africa, the Middle East, the Caribbean and Polynesia. It is relaxing and fast-paced, barefoot and deeply rooted, in connection to the Earth, “Gaia,” and the energies of the body, with yoga stretch for cool down. All levels and ages are welcome!
Contagious fun, social interaction, exercising our bodies and our consciousness.
I began as a substitute teacher for my own instructors and branched out from there to my own practice over a period of about 3 years.
I started studying belly dance in 2006, African dance in 2009, Polynesian in 2010 and Brazilian samba in 2011. I have been performing since 2010. I have been studying yoga since 1998. I began teaching in 2012 and have taught at the community center, yoga and dance studios, at festivals, at an Individual home study level, and most recently at an eclectic New Age studio called The Hidden Sage.

I like to get a feel for what each individual is looking for and their ability and go from there.
All ages from 5 yr olds to 60 yr olds. I had a really lovely time teaching prenatal belly dance for about a yr in Oregon as well.
Ask questions, take a class, find your fit, don't be afraid to embarrass yourself, embrace your growth, avoid big egos.
I will be teaching at the Ogden Om Festival this Fall, 2016 and I am very excited to be participating in such a wonderfully conscious gathering of our community!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I always like to know about any health concerns or limitations a student might have before class so we can work to your level at a comfortable edge.

Details
My pricing depends on location and hourly. If travel is required I factor in mileage + event/ocassion. For one on one lessons I charge $25 per half hour.
