About Muriel
I’m a profesional baking and pastry chef. I love teaching and I have been doing it for many years, I love explaining all the important details so my students can make pastries and breads just like professionals! I was born and raised in France where I also graduated from the leading culinary schools. I won the Grand Prix Award of France’s National Culinary Academy. Perfect! I hired Muriel to help design a "thank you" experience for a friend who really loves Caneles. Who better to teach this Bordeaux treat than someone that lived there for years!
She did an amazing job designing a great experience, including:
- recommending that we order copper molds from France to ensure that crispy perfect texture
- letting me know that the recipe actually has an overnight step, and offering to prepare the first step on her own so the lesson could include all steps in a single session
- letting me know there is a lot of cooking time during the lesson and offering to do another mini-lesson in the downtime!
- organizing all of the orders, ingredients, etc and sending pics of all receipts for final bill
My friend had an absolute blast cooking with her. I couldn't believe her thoughtful prep and super professional execution! Couldn’t ask for anything more.View more reviews
