About Fran
I will teach you how to cook by sharing my quick and easy tips for preparing meals at home. We can work together on menu planning, having the right tools, how to select the best products at the supermarkets, and so much more. Best of all, it will be FUN!!!
Cooking for me is how I show my love. Nothing makes me feel better then the anticipation of my family sitting down for dinner or even taking it on the run then seeing their faces or listening to their comments.
I have a BA in the Biological Sciences and a NJ secondary teaching certificate for grades 7-12 in the Biological Sciences. I was a science teacher for 10 years. I have completed two 8 week courses at Kings Cooking School. I worked at Adventures in Cooking in Wayne, NJ for 7 years at a teaching assistant. I worked in Rustico Cooking in NYC for a few classes and volunteered at the James Beard Foundation in NYC. I have been working at Willams Sonoma in Short Hills and Tice's Corner, NJ as a culinary instructor, sales and management.
