About Bartolomeo
I usually divide my course in three steps: theory, practice and tasting. In the theory we will talk about the history, traditions and the techniques used for the recipe. The second step is the practice which is actually the execution of the real recipe under my supervision and the last step is the tasting where each student will have to analyze his own recipe and develop a self sense of criticism.
I really enjoy teaching and spreading my knowledge to my students talking about the history that's behind every single recipe and the technique to be followed in order to achieve the best results.
Teaching others is always part of the job of a Chef since you always need to do training for the new staff or teach new techniques and recipes to your team when the menu changes.
I have studied at the Hotel and Restaurant School in Modica, Italy for 5 years and after getting my Diploma I went to Parma, Italy to do a Master for one year in the most famous Cooking School in Italy which is ALMA. After that I had several experiences along Michelin starred chefs in Italy and France before traveling to the Middle East and the United States.

I always try to make my students feeling at ease as they would be with some of their best friends while trying to cook or bake something new together. I always love to understand and listen about what has brought my students to me and what's the best benefit they can get from a cooking or pastry class in order for me to have more details when I interact with them and make things more exciting than usual.
I have done cooking and Pastry classes for different kind of people, from the amateur to the professionals of any age.
To make sure that he really enjoys being in a kitchen with others and loves to be curious about ingrediens, techniques and the history that's behind every single recipe.
Unfortunately there are no recent events due to the Pandemic situation but the last one was one year ago in February at Urbani Truffle in New York where I did this cooking class with dinner for a restricted group of people.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should always ask themselves how passionate are they about learning something new and how much they could learn from that specific lesson. Also, as I said, any questions that's related to that sense of curiosity that should be behind every single recipe made during the course.

Details
It depends about the course I have to do, normally pastry, gelato and baking courses are more expensive than cooking classes because they require much more tools, techniques and time to be executed. However my price range may vary from 150$ to 300$ per day and it depends also on the location where the course is due.
