About Kevin
For the first time in my life, I actually felt as if I meant something to the world. I was fortunate enough to play chess with children—it has always been a dream of mine because I absolutely love kids, and I love chess. The greatest feeling in the world for me is to put all my effort into helping these kids progress and really feel like they CAN achieve whatever they put their minds to—this is the start of something new, and I cannot wait to enjoy every second of the journey because I have never been more excited to pursue a goal in my life, and I know I can do it.
I love working with kids. Chess is my passion, and helping kids learn the game is all I have ever wanted to do. The best feeling in the world is teaching chess and witnessing students improve.
I began teaching chess when working for the Vegas Great Knights. I enjoy working with kids, and I love chess. I hope to spread my passion and help the kids to love the game as much as I do.
I received my high school diploma back in 2012. Since 2019 I have been working for the Vegas Great Knights as a chess instructor. I have witnessed being in a classroom full of kids, and I have consistently created lesson plans for each class as well as fun chess games/puzzles for students to solve.

Observe, examine, and understand them. Depending on the student's skill level, I will create chess lessons and help students with strategy and foresight.
I have worked with elementary students between 1st and 5th grade. I've also worked with students who have had ADD and ADHD. I have basically worked with all kinds of kids.
Give chess a chance. Not only does it benefit your brain and sharpen your mind, but chess provides you with life skills you will certainly need to have a healthy and fulfilling future.
Within the past few months, we held a chess tournament with kids from all schools we work with.

Details
The way I'd like to do this is to hear what customers propose rather than just naming a price. On average, I'd like to at least make $30 an hour for each lesson. But again, prices can certainly vary depending on the progress of the student I am teaching.
