About Dorcas
I am currently an undergraduate student pursuing a B.S in Biology with a pre-medicine track. I understand what it's like to struggle with a class or a subject. I also know what it's like to transition from being confused and frustrated about a concept to finally grasping it to the level of mastery. I use this empathetic approach when tutoring my students. My service will help you with anything you need. I have experience with various ages: elementary, middle school, high school, and college.
I enjoy those moments in between a lesson where I engage in casual conversations with the student and I get to know them on a personal level. It helps break the gap between the me and them. It also helps the student connect and trust with me better.
