About Lauren
I am a high school teacher with over 10years of experience working with children ranging in ages toddler to teen. My formal education as a teach has prepared me to work with students of all ages. I am a science teacher but I can help with elementary and middle school all subjects and high school science. With teaching online I am very experienced in online tools used for both synchronous and asynchronous learning.
As an educator I have a passion for helping students of all ages reach their fill potential. The learning experience is unique for each individual and as a problem solver I hope to find what works best for each student.
Prior to being a formal teacher I worked in an education department at an environmental no project, an outdoor educator, summer camp manager, and nanny. All of these experiences influenced my decision to become a professional teacher.
Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science and Education from Chapman University
Teaching Creditial from San Francisco State University
Masters in Secondary Education from San Francisco State University, expected completion in 2021
