Tribal bellies studio is a place where anyone, with any amount of experience or lack thereof, can feel comfortable and welcome to receive a quality dance education. I have been studying there for over 10 years and still enjoy it, learn much and have made life long friends.

Love the nice teacher and wonderful classes, I did learn a lot

I've been dancing with Tribal Bellies for about a year and a half now and I'm really glad I decided to give it a shot. I always wanted to try challenging myself by learning to dance, and the structure of the classes is great for seeing improvement. You can advance up to level 5 classes and each level progressively layers new material upon the previous one. The dance style is improvisational, so you'll learn cues that convey what move the group leader is doing next. There are also lots of other elements of belly dance to learn at the studio, such as classes devoted to dancing with a sword, or with veils. Once you advance far enough you'll have the chance to utilize what you're learned by performing with other members of the studio at events like renaissance faires. You can dance at the studio for years and you'll still have new things that you can learn.

The teachers are also all very talented and patient. They offer honest critiques but aren't going to belittle you for struggling with moves. It's a very welcoming environment, and a number of the teachers and other students are now people who I consider friends. I now take lessons at the studio multiple times per week and I'm happy I decided to give it a shot. I highly recommend Tribal Bellies to anyone who's curious about belly dancing and is looking for a place to try it out.

Vikki has been one of my favorite instructors. If you're not understanding or getting something she'll continue to work with you on it so you'll get the move down. Her skill level is outstanding and she is so well versed in the world of Bellydance at every level. A beautiful person inside and out, her classes are a great way to learn real bellydance while also having fun and feeling safe at the same time. I really love how our tribal dance studio celebrates diversity of all kinds and keeps any discrimination out of it. I cannot recommend Vikki and Tribal Bellies enough!
