About Chris
I am an educator with 10+ years of experience in K–12, adult education, and college instruction. I currently work in GED education, helping adult learners build the skills and confidence needed to earn their High School Equivalency (HSE).
I am certified as an Adult Educator and K–12 substitute in West Virginia. I previously worked with WVSDT’s SPOKES program, supporting adult learners in achieving their HSE, and I currently serve as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice. I hold a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Troy University and a Master’s in Adult Education from Marshall University.
I work with diverse learning styles and focus on clear, achievable goals to build student confidence and success. I believe every student can learn with the right support and instruction.
I have served as a training officer in both a military and law enforcement capacity. After obtaining my masters degree in criminal justice I began teaching at the bachelors level for a local college. I obtained a second masters degree in education and have worked as a substitute teacher for K-12 with a focus in science and social studies and also work full-time for an adult education program.
