About Chris
Chris Peacock is a Daphne native and a Daphne High School graduate. During his high school career, he played varsity all 4 years, while also receiving First Team All-State as a junior and senior.
After high school, he went on to play college baseball at Alabama Southern CC, Faulkner State CC, and the University of Mobile College.
After college, he played independent ball for 5 years. While playing independent ball, he won 2 championships with 2 separate teams, in the same year. He was named Pitcher of The Year in 2014. In 2015, he was signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Chris’ highest velocity, with his fastball, was clocked at 98 mph.
During the off-season, Chris coached at Daphne High School as JV Head Coach and Assistant Coach, each for 1 year, and Varsity Pitching Coach for 1 year. Also, he has been a head travel ball coach for the past 5 years. In 2021, Chris had the honor of being inducted into the Daphne High School Hall of Fame.
Currently, Chris is a Full-Time Firefighter in the Mobile Fire Rescue Department. Chris’ love of the game and his passion for coaching has led him to start Top Prospect in 2014, passing down his experience and knowledge to young athletes ever since.
Chris Graduated from Daphne High in 2007, lettered in varsity all four years. In 2006, made the All-County Team and 2007 made the All-State Team. Went on to play at Faulkner State CC, then transferred to the University of Mobile. Chris played professionally from 2012-2016 with various organizations. He played in various independent leagues, which included the North American League, the American Association. 2014, Chris was named Relief Pitcher of the Year, made the All-League team and was also fortunate to win two championships in one year in two separate leagues. Peacock signed a contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization in 2015. During many of the off-seasons during his pro career, he coached at his Alma Mater (DHS) as a JV Coach, as well as, a Varsity Pitching Coach.

Lessons last 45 min. The first 5-10 min. are spent with a quick warmup (usually with some sort of agility training). The next 30-35 min. we dive into the instruction portion. The last 5 min. is a review and discussion of what we covered.
Ages 8-18 of all experience levels.
