About Yolandi
I am a lady of Washington (DC), in my mid-thirties, business professional by day and dog-mom of two Chihuahuas. Chess, scrabble, building jigsaw puzzles and art (painting / scrapbooking) are some of my hobbies. I love swimming and taking my pets for long walks. In my spare time I am studying French and as part of studying, I am learning computer programming. Which means I completely understand the challenges English as a second language pose! I enjoy travelling (being from South Africa originally) and have visited several countries.

From in-person and virtual experience, I create a safe space to experiment with the language. Like a new toy. Practical writing, speaking, listening and reading during every session. I see the sessions as workshops more than presentations. Even better if we could explore the use of the language in a specific area of interest, together.
