About Joseph
Acting;
- Associates Degree in Performing Arts from 'The American Academy of Dramatic Arts'. Diploma in performaing arts from 'The Actor's Program'. Grade 8 and teachers level qualification with Distinction from Trinity Guildhall in Acting and Speech & Drama.
- Years at drama schools have taught me more than just the practical acting side of things but a deep respect for the theoretical origins of acting and many different methods within it. As well as that, I've learnt how to navigate the business and, especially for beginners, can be very helpful in steering you in the right direction to not just get better but get further in this industry.
- Currently a working actor in Los Angeles so your experience with me is always changing and shifting as I change and shift with the modern model of acting in this city.
- I've taught youth seminars in New Zealand as well as private lessons and now am doing private lessons here in the states.
Guitar;
- Years of lessons as well as starting self-taught. I play in many bands and events around town and have since I was 13.
I love being challenged. I love working with children and trying to harness and explore their creativity and endless amounts of enthusiasm.
I love that this work can help people; it opens kids/adults alike up to self-expression and the need for self-confidence. It's also so much fun and can really help stretch people out of their comfort zone in a way that can do nothing but help.

joe is very friendly and patient. He is a really good teacher, especially to beginners.
I needed some help on two monologues for auditions and Joe was the perfect fit. He really took care and broke down every important detail. Happy to say I’ll be attending drama school this September thanks to Joe!
I have always wanted to be able to play guitar but it always seemed like the most challenging thing. I was really nervous to start learning but Joe made me feel comfortable and excited to learn. He really knows what he is talking about and breaks down the steps to make it feel easy and fun. I would recommend his lessons 100%! Can’t thank him enough!!
