About J Bailey
I’m proud to be a classically trained actor. Well versed in Shakespeare as well as contemporary theatre and film acting. I make my living as a Musical Theatre performer so I specialize in MT acting as well.
I am able to work with people of all levels and ranges and ages. I direct Youth Theatre Shakespeare at LA Drama Club and I direct fully professional productions of both Classic and Contemporary works all around LA.
I guarentee our time time together will never be wasted and you will leave full of confidence for your next audition or role.
Things we can work on:
Singing, monologues, scene study, acting exercises, Meisner training, Improv, MT acting vs Play acting vs Film acting, plus many more.
Performing and directing have always been my greatest passions. After receieveing a degree in Theatre Performance, as well as a Degree in Theatre Production with an emphasis in Directing, I moved to LA and began working steadily as a Character actor. I have since played roles like Danny in Shanley’s ‘Danny and the Deep Blue Sea’ in Hollywood and I’ve directed over 10 shows in my 3 years here.
