About Kelly
With my extensive training in acting and improvisation, I help actors new and seasoned dust off the cobwebs and have fun in the audition room. I've been a working actor and improviser in Chicago for five years and have learned so much through consistent auditioning. I have a BFA in Acting from Adelphi University in New York and have trained with renowned schools such as Stella Adler (NYC), Circle in the Square, London Dramatic Academy, Black Box Acting, Green Room, UCB, iO, The Annoyance, and The Second City. With my tools, experience and blunt but supportive attitude I can help you shoo away the noises in your head and get you to enjoy the hustle of being an actor.
There have been so many tough lessons I've learned in my career. I'd love to help other actors avoid set backs by giving them the tools they need to succeed right off the bat. Auditions are so stressful. It's hard to let go and do what we need to do (act our hearts out) when we're so panicked about so many factors. What I do is bring actors back to the text, characters and most importantly- themselves as an actor so they can feel completely at ease showing their work.
