About Mollie
I'm twenty-nine years old, and was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I have been a part of the theatre and musical theatre community since I was seven. I started with after school theatre programs and theatre camps, and couldn’t get enough. I loved everything about theatre.
When I graduated college, I started at Marymount Manhattan. I was a double major in Acting and Costume Design, with a minor in Musical Theatre. After, two years I transferred to Brooklyn College’s Acting Conservatory.
I have been lucky enough to spend my summers teaching theatre and acting at sleepaway camps, for the last fourteen summers. I’ve directed over sixty shows over the last half of my life, and fell in love with working with children and adults.
I’m trained in Boleslavsky, Stanislavski, Adler, Meisner, Strasberg, and Bhutto.
Acting credits include: Churchill High School: Bye, Bye Birdie (Kim), Guys and Dolls (Adelaide), Gypsy (Mama Rose), Pajama Game (Babe). City Lights Youth Theatre: Into the Woods (Little Red), Carousel (Julie Jordan), What If...? (Lucia), Grapes of Wrath (Mam), Pippin (ensemble), Rent (Maureen). Marymount Manhattan College: Women in Heat (Charlene), Hello Again (Young Wife), Our Town, (Mrs. Gibbs) Brooklyn College: Rough Magic (Linda Summer), Tall-Grass Gothic (Laura), Eurydice (Eurydice). Brooklyn Players Community Theatre: Ragtime (mother), Hairspray (Jail matron, u/s Tracy), Proof (Catharine).
