About Ernest
I hold a doctorate in applied mathematics; I spent one summer at NASA-Langley making me a (former) rocket scientist; and I taught at a New York private high school. I speak clearly and slowly and I read facial expressions well so I will probably know when you have a question and I may even know what it is before you ask.
Mathematics is a beautiful subject. I think of it as an unfolding old epic poem originating six or seven thousand years ago. It was and continues to be written by successive generations of mathematicians whose contributions have been carefully screened by other mathematicians for correctness and beauty.
I am certain you will smile.
