About Matthew
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Puget Sound, before joining Teach For Amerca and moving to Memphis two years ago! I am currently finishing up a Master of Education program, and excited to help you with all of your tutoring needs!
I am a high school social studies teacher with experience teaching US and World History, as well as Economics and Government. I also help out with ACT tutoring, specifically the English, Reading, and Science sections.
I have also completed the additional Advanced Placement Summer Fellowship training for US History.
Lastly, I am proficient in Statisitics and statistical programs!
I love workign with students of all ages and ability levels. I am extermely patient, and differentiate my teaching to the ability and interests of my students.
Joined Teach For America after serving in multiple tutoring roles during college.
