About Ariana
Do you know who Hypatia was? She was one of the first known woman mathematicians! I named my tutoring company after her to demonstrate my love of learning and mathematics.
I've been teaching and tutoring for over 10 years, and hold a bachelor's degree in Statistics and a master's degree in Math Education. Want help with your math class? I can help you out!
The ACT is my specialty - I scored in the 99th or 100th percentile in each section of the ACT. The ACT is like chess: to be good at it, you need practice and a good strategy. I can help you with both!

I love seeing a student understand something that they thought was impossible for them to comprehend. I've seen it happen so many times, and every single time, it makes me so happy!
I started out by working as a teaching assistant for an introductory statistics class in college, and through that discovered that teaching was one of my passions. From there, I kept teaching, started private tutoring, became a certified teacher, and earned my Master's degree.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, a Master's Degree in Math Education, and I am a certified Elementary, Junior High, and High School math teacher.
In addition, I scored in the 99th percentile on each section of the ACT.

I have worked with students age 6 all the way up to 25, believe it or not - and I love working with any age! I have worked both with those who struggle with math and/or reading, as well as those who just want to polish their skills.
Make sure that your teacher has experience, melds well with your learning style, and can give you a clear plan for learning on your schedule.
In December 2018, a new largest prime number was discovered!
