About Alana
Hi!!!!! I have hand on experience with dance!! I participated in dance my middle and high school years!! I participated in a IB dance program, and I'm currently a Montessori teacher!!! I believe dance mentoring should not only be about what I can teach a child but also what a child can teach me☺️ my goal is to help your child reach their full potential and blossom into the beautiful person that they are!!!
I love the ability to make a child's day better and the ability to learn and to teach a child. Children are truly gifts and should be viewed and valued as gifts. I also love the ability to take something that I love so much and to be able to help a child.
I am a recent high school graduate and I've always had a love for children and I've always wanted to help children reach there full potential, so I got into Montessori teaching and now I decided to follow a passion and start teaching dance.
I have been involved in dance since middle school. I also have Montessori school training and currently work as a Montessori teacher ☺️

My process for a new student is taking the first class to get to know that student and to get to know their interests, goals, ambitions and also for them to get to know me and to get familiar with me☺️
I have worked with so far students of all races, all ages, and all types of really cool backgrounds!!☺️
First, ignore the price and look at the teacher for the person that they are. teachers that love teaching teach students to love learning!!
One recent event I'm very proud of is me overcoming my fear and putting myself out there and giving teaching a chance. Due to my age I was always told that it will be hard and it was very hard but I put forth the time and the effort during high school and I'm very happy to be where I'm at today and to be able to help you and your children !!

She was so sweet and my child learned so many cool techniques from her!! She was very family oriented and even checked on my child after we didn’t even need the services anymore. It was dance class so I expected my child to come home dirty and sweaty , but yet she made sure my child was presentable to go home. my child had allergies and she even provided snacks that were allergy friendly. Child came home & would not stop talking about Miss Alana‘s dance class. definitely coming back!
