About Joshua
The pressure on students to perform and stand out has never been higher. In sharp contrast, the medical community increasingly recognizes the overwhelming prevalence of learning disabilities. ADHD alone affects at least 9% of students in the US according to research published in 2021 by the journal Nature. How can we expect students to rise to the unreasonable challenge this situation presents?
I have struggled with ADHD and other learning disabilities all my life, and they have gravely affected my grades. However, in spite of these issues, I was able to achieve a perfect SAT score and near-perfect ACT and PSAT scores. I also achieved perfect scores on 8 out of 10 AP exams, a perfect SAT Math II score, and a near-perfect SAT Chemistry score. I promise you this is not because I am some misunderstood genius. These tests can be defeated with simple techniques and just a couple hours a week of dedicated practice. I have 6 years' experience tutoring professionally as well as with friends and family, and in the vast majority of cases, my students have gone on to see tremendous improvements to their standardized test scores as well as their grades.
