About Me Hi, I’m Gracie, and I believe singing is one of the most joyful ways to express yourself. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, encouraged, and excited to learn. With six years of experience working with kids, including leading an elementary school choir for a year, and regularly singing with my church worship team, I’ve developed a teaching style that’s fun, supportive, and focused on meeting you exactly where you are in your journey. I understand that every voice is unique, and I love helping students explore their own sound while building confidence along the way. My lessons are designed to feel both structured and enjoyable—we’ll work on foundational skills like vocal warm-ups, breath control, and tone while also incorporating plenty of creativity and fun. 1. Warm-Ups: Stretching the voice with sirens and raspberries to prepare for singing.
2. Scale Training: Practicing 1-2-3-4-5 note progressions for memorization and sound development.
3. Vowel Work: Focusing on vowels (A-E-I-O-U) to control sound projection and clarity.
4. Song Practice: Singing a song together to refine techniques and improve vocal performance.
5. Holding Notes & Choir Skills: Practicing sustained notes and interpreting choir hand signals.
