About Michael
I am an educator and mathematician. I have been a tutor since October 2001, and started teaching in schools in 2009. I'm presently in my fifth school. I have a Bachelors in Mathematics, obtained in 2008, and recently, a PGDE.

I try to communicate mathematical concepts well, especially those that seem abstract. For example, when teaching the topic, Directed Numbers, I relate the ideas using what I call the Debt - Ownership rule, which shows a corresponding relationship between monetary debts and negative numbers.
