About Liz
I have taught high school math and economics and have tutored children for over 25 years (Newton and Brookline School Districts). My degree undergraduate degree is from Boston College (majored in Economics and English) and I have a Master's degree in International Development from the Institute of Development Students, Sussex University, England.

I focus on understanding the barriers each student is facing, work to show the student that they can understand mathematical concepts and then work on practicing until the student is confident that they can master the problems they are working on. Math builds on itself so often a student is stuck because a basic concept was not understood and internalized.
