About Will
I am an experienced teacher and head of department with a great passion for supporting students to achieve their goals, with a particular expertise in preparing students for exams at a range of levels.
Before becoming a teacher I studied geography at Oxford University before working for the government, most recently as a diplomat at the Foreign Office.

Our first session focuses on getting to know each other and understanding your ambitions and learning needs. After that prepare for your approval an individual, personalised learning plan focussing on the areas we have identified for you to work on.
After that we then work through a topic at a time. We work through the concepts and theory together before doing some worked examples together before setting you off for individual practice on which I give detailed feedback.
The sesssions can cover english, verbal reasoning, maths and non-verbal reasoning as identified as priorities in our initial session.

He listens to which topics you struggle with and breaks them down to rhe fundamentals. Each session has discussions and photographs/examples to help understand the concepts and topics. He also does exam questions help, where we break down the question together and plan and answer too.
I taught alongside Will for 6 years and would highly recommend him as a fantastic teacher. Will has a lot of experience teaching both GCSE and A-Level geography, including both physical and human elements of the course. He is also an experienced marker of exam scripts. Will's students always value his depth of knowledge and clear instructions. I could not recommend Will more strongly.
I worked for a number of years with Will in London. His subject knowledge is exceptional. This knowledge marries very well with his compassion and understanding about how different individuals learn. He also knows the UK curriculum and exam specifications for both GCSE and A-level.
Will is an excellent teacher! I worked with him for four years and learnt a lot from him myself. In addition to having fantastic geographical knowledge, Will has a great understanding of the A Level and GCSE exams, and how to prepare students for them.
