About Aaron
Hello! My name is Aaron. I am a 25-year-old soon-to-be high school teacher. I have always had a passion for education, so after completing my physics degree at the University of Ottawa, I spent about 2 years tutoring at local institutions. I am now pursuing my Ontario teaching certification at Ontario Tech University. Throughout my own education I have been tutoring high school math and physics. What began as a temporary shift to online tutoring during COVID-19 has become one of my biggest strengths. I now have years of experience in providing personalized, effective support virtually, taking advantage of digital settings to make the most of our time together. As a passionate educator, I'm not only here to help you through challenging content, but to give you tools and skills that will support your learning well beyond our sessions. I strive to provide you with the tools to make future learning easier, rather than just getting you through the material at hand!
To start, I always offer a commitment-free, 1-hour trial session. This allows me to understand your learning needs, and it lets you to see if my style is a good fit. We can talk about setting up a regular schedule after the trial session if things go well. I’m very flexible with scheduling, so if something comes up, I’m always happy to arrange a make-up session.
