About Clare
I am a caring and empathetic specialist teacher with a passion for helping those who have special needs.
I have delivered programmes of support in Maths and English, individually and in groups, both in and out of school. I have a diploma in teaching learners with specific learning difficulties in Maths and English and have 17 years' experience . I have been rigorously tested in the Policies of SEN and have a great track record in ensuring my students get GCSE s or National Tests in these subjects.

Passionate about the Education of those who have Special Needs, I have spent 17 years working with learners across the Key stages both in and out of school. I enjoy a challenge and think of the lessons as part of a pupil's learning journey. I assess my pupils first, to inform my planning, and ensure my lessons are delivered with their dominant learning style at the fore. I measure success in 2 ways: a) An increase in the learner's confidence which can alone lift any barriers b)Progress across the curriculum as they embed new skills into their school work. I incorporate the strategies suggested by Educational Psychologist and other professionals in my plans. A range of multi sensory techniques is included too even online where possible.
