About Jaimie
Hi everyone! I'm a teacher from Danbury, CT, and I can't wait to help you with your classwork, homework, preparing for tests, or anything else you might need! I've worked with students in first grade all the way through sixth grade, and no matter how old you are, I promise to figure out how you learn best. Not only that, I promise to make learning fun for you! My goal is to help you love school as much as I do and to find the best ways for you to be successful.

My goal in all lessons is to make learning fun for students. I create and find academic games whenever possible, and I believe that when students have fun, they truly learn better. I also believe in using hands-on materials and illustrations to better understand material.
What sets me apart from other tutors is that I have taught students in grades 1 through 6, including students with special needs, for six years. Before teaching full-time, I tutored students in a variety of subjects and helped them earn grades they never thought possible.
I take the time to create lessons that are interesting to students and relevant to their lives. I get to know what my students like, what they dislike, and how they learn best. Whether they need help with classwork, test preparation, organization skills or homework, I will be there to guarantee they show improvement.
I am available to tutor students in grades K-7 in all subject matters.
